I recalled today a discussion that a fellow Frassati Society member had with a Protestant about 1 John 5:16-17. The Protestant claimed that all sins were equal, but that there were some sins that would bring death as a punishment. When asked where the newly deceased would go, he replied “Heaven.”
Hmmmm. . . . if this is true, then I think we should all commit adultery so that we can die and go to Heaven. Why not?
