Speaking of Music

  /   Sunday January 04, 2004

One thing that is really nice about the Advent and Christmas seasons is that the music is pretty standard. I cannot recall being anywhere where anything other than the Christmas carols were being used during Christmas. Few would dare to play cheezy “liturgical” music at a time like this.

Ditto for Marian feasts. This is probably because the real flakes disdain devotion to Mary for some reason (all the while claiming to be pro-woman). You can count on Immaculate Mary or Hail Holy Queen being used most of the time.
